Always been a bit interested, though hadnt found the RFC’s or other references, so I spent some time the other day…
looks to supply all the functionality though it doesnt explain everything I wanted to know… MM1-MM7 protocols/gateways etc…

Found CDMA Workshop and finally found something that gives me slightly more information about this older CDMA/EVDO Virgin Mobile wifi hotspot I have (Novatel MiFi 2200).
At least a starting point there…
